With her postdoctoral thesis entitled ‘Hidden champions: How salt marsh plant traits shape sediment stability,’ she has made a significant contribution to our field of research. The presentation and colloquium on her work took place on 10 December 2025 and was attended by an interested audience. This postdoctoral thesis is a special event for our institute, and we would like to thank the committee and the external reviewers Prof. Dr. Heidi Nepf from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Prof. Dr. Ingrid Kröncke from the ICBM at Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg for their valuable support and expertise.
